A curved or bent penis when erect is a normal and common physical condition — an upward curve being the most common. Generally speaking, a slight upward curve is anatomically normal and often desirable. In some cases, the curve may be downwards or to the left or right. Again, in general, this is relatively normal — the penis coming in many shapes and sizes. However, in a small number of cases, the bend or curve can be more extreme and this may cause pain during sex — for either the individual or their partner — or in severe cases difficulty in having sex. It is not unusual for curvature to develop unexpectedly, either suddenly or over a period of time. The majority of cases of penile curvature can easily be treated and should not be a cause for concern.

Why is my penis curved? Is it normal?

Back to Men's health. It's common for the penis to curve slightly to the left or right when it's erect. But if you have a more significant bend in your penis, which may cause you pain or difficulty having sex, see your GP or go to your local genitourinary medicine GUM clinic. These can sometimes be symptoms of Peyronie's disease. Peyronie's disease causes the penis to become curved when it's erect. The condition mostly affects men over 40, although it can happen at any age.
More than good, really. The upward curve means an advantage when it comes to stimulating all the right spots for toe-curling, full-body orgasms: the G-spot , A-spot , and prostate. Pro tip: You can keep it simple with any variation of the missionary position and still rock their world thanks to that curve.
